The Denzels (Record Release Party!)
The Denzels (Record Release Party!)
An endearing blend of polished alt rock with a mischievous garage rock sensibility, The Denzels sport an infectiousness that is completely irresistible. In April they debuted "Slow Death" and the b-side "Montrose Next Door," undeniably strong tracks that promise an excellent show and a bright career.
Wojcik
Wojcik
"...reminiscent of The White Stripes and Blood Red Shoes in their bare bones garage-rock aesthetic, and also evoke memories of Sonic Youth. Wojcik flexes her voice in that very erotic, sultry, rock 'n roll way that so few female rock vocalists seem to get right."

The Dearloves (Album Release Party!)
The Dearloves (Album Release Party!)
With echoes of rock n roll's forefathers and bastard children alike resonating through their amplifiers, The Dearloves bring to you a sound both classic and beautifully original. A combined century of musical absorption among them distills down to both male and female vocals pouring over solid, driving drums and searing guitars with a living energy. They come at you straight and look you in the eye. Intelligently constructed and performed with unforgiving conviction & clarity, their songs are nearly impossible to lock into a specific genre, opting rather to wander through many different rooms with many different sounds. Imagine the child of The Beatles & Nirvana, born in the bathroom of CBGB's and raised in a commune inhabited by Bob Dylan, Stevie Nicks, and The Verve. The Dearloves wants to take you somewhere and show you something.
Lead Stones
Lead Stones
Blissful, NYC based psychedelic rock in the old-school vein, pretty similar to The Velvet Underground or Religious Knives, except less misanthropic and more lysergic. Highly, highly recommended. -Weed Temple

The school of the Velvet Underground is not endless! Perfect! -Muzzninu

Who ever heard of sixties and seventies psychedelic rock, and the bed is so immersed in them…Brilliant, uplifting, fairy plate. -I Wanna Rock You Baby!

Lead Stones is the only one that brings us to the island of peace. -Jaegerturkspace
