Dorian
Dorian
DORIAN are one of Spain’s most representative and successful indie bands. They
have published five studio albums including the acclaimed Justicia Universal (Nacional
Records - IM Records–2018).
In the last ten years they have released such popular songs as La Tormenta de
Arena, Paraísos Artificiales, Los amigos que perdí (track included at Elite BSO, Netflix
2019), or Cualquier otra parte, considered a true hymn for a whole generation in Spain and
Latin America.
The history and career of DORIAN is fundamental in understanding contemporary
Spanish pop music, and what was going to happen to the independent music scene of Spain.
DORIAN is a band that combines the tradition of Spanish pop music with rock, new sounds
and contemporary electronics. This unusual sound mixture made them stand out in the
musical scene of their country, gaining them the attention and respect of the public and
specialized press, and attracting huge audiences to the most important festivals and live
venues in Spain and Latin America, where DORIAN have started a solid and promising career
that is currently in the process of expanding to USA.
The band was formed in Barcelona, a city that then was undergoing the emergence of a
powerful club culture and music festivals such as Sónar, BAM and Primavera Sound.
From then on, DORIAN have acted in nearly all festivals in Spain and in several abroad,
such as SXSW in US, Paredesde Coura in Portugal, Vive Latino or Hellow Fest in México, Es
tereo Picnic in Colombia or Ciudad Emergente and Sónar in Argentina.

In 2018 DORIAN released a new album, Justicia universal, which reached the top 3 best-
selling albums in Spain. They have already presented the album in several countries with a

resounding success. The new album published by Nacional Records in USA, allowed them to
make their first tour in United States, performing in cities such as Chicago, Denver, Anaheim,
San Francisco, L.A. or San Diego.
