Derrick May
Derrick May
Sometime in the past, the future began. In 1987, a shrink-wrapped record titled, “Nude Photo,” started appearing on the shelves of a few idiosyncratic dance shops throughout Europe. The techno uprising was underway. The music sounded other-worldly: sub-aquatic basslines raced with hi-hats constructed from welding sparks. It was like listening to the liquid electricity of one man’s soul. A part of the original Detroit “Holy Trinity” with Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson, Derrick took the Euro-electropop crystals of Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode and New Order beyond its own horizon, infusing it with house, experimental synthesizer work and just plain soul. Songs and albums like "Nude Photo", "Strings Of Life", "It Is What It Is", "Beginning", "Relics" and “Icon” run deeper than genre molds can grasp. Referred to as the "Miles Davis of Techno", Mr. May has worked with some of the most experimental and creative musical artists in the world, such as ABC, Depeche Mode, Fine Young Cannibals and System 7.

DatKat (Analog Soul/O.E.A)
DatKat's mission is a simple one: to move people. Gracing the decks at the likes of Moscow’s legendary Club Propaganda for the popular Voices: party hosted by Nina Kraviz, the Academy Club in Montreal, as well as Xlib Club and Sky Art Cafe in Kiev, Ukraine, the self described audiophile has been doing just that for ten years and counting. An inaugural member of East Village Radio, one of the world’s most progressive and independent online music forums, she has always been a tastemaker, with a musical personality that can be best described as exploratory, innovative, and unconventional.
Nthing
Very little is known about mysterious Amsterdam producer nthng, but those who have been enraptured by his hazy, emotive and driving productions have only touched the edge of a vast shrouded techno landscape.

Inspired by the early days of techno and trance, before it became a dirty word, nthng’s sound blends a heady mix of murky, undulating, tectonic drum work alongside drifting, melodic synth lines that melt into the 6am sun.
Layaway
Layaway
Layaway is a DJ from the Distant Signal crew in NYC
Eddie Leader
Eddie Leader
1/3 of the group Slum Science from the UK.
Evan Michael
Evan Michael
Evan Michael has played a prominent role in NYC nightlife for over half a decade. Having cut his teeth in programming and promotions at clubs like Cameo Gallery and Good Room, he’s now leading marketing at the newly established Elsewhere venue in Brooklyn, and is a regular DJ at Le Bain in Manhattan. Over the years he’s polished a sound rooted in textural rhythms overlaid with melodic leads and wistful chords, always taking into account the mood and atmosphere of his many nights spent on the dance floor.
