The Britanys
Since releasing their first single 'Want To Be' with Converse Rubber Tracks, The Britanys have been getting praise from publications such as NME, DIY Magazine, and Popular TV. Named one of the top 10 bands from New York to look out for in 2015 by the New York Observer, The Britanys have quickly been getting comparisons to The Strokes, Iggy Pop, and New York circa CBGB's in it's prime.

After building a studio in their basement in Brooklyn, The Britanys have just finished recording another single 'City Boys,' which will be a part of their next EP out on Lolipop Records this Fall.

"'Want To Be' by the fuzzy New York upstarts The Britanys...sounding like something The Strokes might have wandered into in the early noughties"- NME Magazine

The Britanys sound like they've absorbed the work of their yesteryear heroes and flipped all inspiration upside down. Every aspect of 'Want To Be''s delivery sits outside the norm, even though the thrashing chords and New York vibe recall early The Strokes. - DIY Magazine

The Britanys deserve a spot on your springtime playlist, mostly because their breezy tunes are just so damn good.- Popular TV

Dare I say, their concept bleeds into the influences of Velvet Underground and even Iggy Pop circa 1977- Alt Citizen"

Rey Pila
Born in Mexico City as Diego Solorzano's solo project, Rey Pila came to life with a self-titled debut album in 2009, co-produced by Diego and Paul Majahan (TV On the Radio, Liars, Yeah Yeah Yeahs). Diego put together a band and toured the album relentlessly for two years, performing with the likes of Interpol, Muse, TV On the Radio, Ariel Pink and headlining their own
shows in Mexico and abroad, while garnering massive local press and radio support.

Rey Pila entered New York City's DFA studio in 2012 as a fully formed band, now comprised of Diego and long-time friends/collaborators Rodrigo Blanco and Andrés Velasco. Together they wrote the band's sophomore album, and enlisted producer Chris Coady (Beach House, Smith Westerns, Wavves) to record a synth-laden, guitar-driven collection of pop gems. A first single ("Alexander") will be released this fall on Julian Casablancas's Cult Records.
Tucked away in Kensington Market, Downtown Toronto’s most culturally diverse neighborhood, ROMES converted the basement of their semi-detached red-brick into their full time rehearsal space. For the past year, the band relentlessly spent their waking hours there, exploring their eclectic tastes in music and ultimately writing the tracks for their debut EP "Believe".

ROMES have harnessed their pop sensibilities into an alternative sound that is completely their own. With soulful melodies and bright, funky guitar riffs playing off gritty synths, the tracks are instant, high-energy, anthemic ear candy. These larger-than-life tunes, backboned by thumping, hip-hop rhythms and disco-inspired bass-lines, put a modern twist on the group’s early musical inspirations.
