Mexican punks Le Butcherettes played Saint Vitus Tuesday night, the night before their opening performance for At The Drive-In at Terminal 5. Supported by local bands The Yin Yangs and NØMADS, the energy at Vitus was high when they took the stage. Their sets are notoriously visceral, led by the inimitable and almost feral Teri Gender Bender contorting around the stage smeared in red face paint. You really ought to see it live, but here’s the best we could do to recreate it with photos. Thanks Jeanette D. Moses for the shots!
