Tying Tiffany
Tying Tiffany
Enigmatic Italian artist Tying Tiffany defies convention with her irresistible blend of post-punk, industrial and electronic music rooted in ethos of DIY and experimentations in the visual and performance arts. Working under the moniker since 2005, the project often reaches beyond the music and visuals to explore themes on dadaism, sexuality and feminist discourse. And even though the cited influences are extremely diverse there is an atmosphere of darkness that runs through each movement, creating a shadowy cohesion through her material.
Although a strong fixture in the Italian underground, years of intense touring have opened access to larger arenas including gigs with legends like The Buzzcocks and Iggy Pop as well as tracks featured in TV and major Hollywood films (such as “The Hunger Games” and “Catching Fire” trailers).
While Tying Tiffany may be able to appeal to the masses, her music and artwork remains rooted in the DIY and the nocturnal - a testament to the project's impressive flexibility.
In her new album “Drop” LP (out on ZerOKilled Music / March 11th 2014) she crafts her own brand of dark, dreamy pop, full of buzzing synths, piercing vocals, and infectious electro-beats.
While maintaining that accessible pop factor, “Drop” finds inspiration in an eclectic mix of 90s electronica, R&S and Rising High Records, acid house and chill-wave all.
Blending jam based punk aesthetics with a laser focus on beat and melody, Psychobuildings recalls an era of music, when pop, rock, and disco began fusing together to stir up new club sensations.

Frontman, Peter LaBier, complements percussive vocal deliveries with angular and spasmodic dance moves. Despite the clean pop structure of the songs, the end result manages to sound both abstract and loose. Synths buzz and swirl around the beat, courtesy of Peter Schuette. Juan Pieczanski plays additional percussion, synthesizers, and handles the production duties. The group's first single is available on All Hands Electric and Cass Club.
Dream Council
DREAM COUNCIL is an electronic music duo from Brooklyn, New York.

Using contemporary drum and bass sounds, Dream Council's music explores realms deeper than new wave, but keeps a sensibility close to the genre.

Mother Nature, Dream Council's first full-length album to be released in 2013 is an atmospheric, religious-sounding pop album in the vein of Depeche Mode's Black Celebration or Erasure's The Innocents. Mother Nature's release is preceded by 2012's 4-track EP entitled Love Life. While electronic music can often be perceived as cold and inhuman, both Mother Nature and Love Life offer an opposite approach to the sound.

Dream Council is the music project of vocalist and musician Sean Michael (SM) and engineer Ted Ullrich (TU). SM's booming, minimal lyrics fill the songs with power and grace. SM's performance has drawn comparisons to a priest on stage, as he commands attention and offers love and connection to the audience. TU, the instrumentalist, helps develop the core tracks and underlying melodies, providing structure to the live sets.
