Caddywhompus
Caddywhompus
Chris Rehm and Sean Hart, the New Orleans via Houston duo, have been playing music together since middle school and have been crafting avant-pop tunes under the binomen of Caddywhompus since 2008. Their live show is a tightly crafted barrage of dynamic energy, utilizing dreamy dips and explosive crescendos executed with math rock like precision. On stage, the duo faces each other in front of a teetering wall of amps presenting their binary dialogue to the audience. Over the years, the band has released 4 albums, extensively toured the United States and has performed internationally in Europe, Brazil and Canada. In the last 6 months, Caddywhompus has opened for Thee Oh Sees, Parquet Courts and Dungen as well as finalized the production of their newest LP. The band will be releasing the LP in 2017 around plays at SXSW & BUKU Fest.
Dinowalrus
Dinowalrus
DINOWALRUS is a synth-rock band from Brooklyn, NY comprised of Pete Feigenbaum, sound designer/synth and bass wizard Liam Andrew, and veteran drummer Max Tucker.

Pete started the band in 2008. They started 2009 strong with a 7" release that was distributed by Impose and RVNG, plus another 7" release on the Australian label EXO.

In January 2010, DINOWALRUS put out their shape shifting, eclectic and erudite debut, %, on Kanine Records (Surfer Blood, Chairlift, Grizzly Bear). The band toured the east coast and California with the likes of Titus Andronicus, Fang Island, Aa, Signals (ex-mae shi), and Tempo no Tempo.

Later in 2010, Pete revamped the lineup and songwriting approach, and began working with Liam Andrew (synthesizers, bass). The two have been friends since college, where they both took a course entitled "the experimental traditional in pop music", receiving course credit for listening to favorites such as PiL, Brian Eno, Throbbing Gristle and Kraftwerk.

After lineup changes, DINOWALRUS then turned towards a more pop-oriented songwriting approach that drew heavily on the 1980s beats of Madchester plus other groovin' minimal synth, new wave, dark wave, and post punk angles, while retaining their psychedelic and krautock backbone. They released their sophomore album Best Behavior on Old Flame Records+Heist or Hit (Dead Confederate, Cloud Nothings, Millionyoung) in 2012.
Petite League

Upon arriving in Syracuse after growing up in Brussels, Belgium as an American expat, Lorenzo Gillis Cook was introduced to the fast paced, lo-fi sound of the American house show scene. Though he had been making music for years under the name Spark Alaska and a multitude of high school bands, the franticness and earnest expression being put on display in these upstate basements and attics was infectious.

In late 2014, Cook brought the first Petite League demo of friend and drummer Henry Schoonmaker, and the rest is history. Since then, the two have recorded two albums (Slugger and No Hitter), garnered press from Pitchfork, the Fader, Noisey, etc. , co-founded the notable Syracuse DIY venue Scarier Dome, and now reside in Ridgewood, Queens post-graduation.

This bring us to present day, and the band’s the third record, Rips One Into the Night. Blending the sweet, bubblegum qualities of bedroom pop and the snot nosed fuzz of garage rock, Rips One Into the Night is Petite League fully-formed. Coming in at 10 tracks, Rips One Into the Night will be released on September 1st by The Native Sound and the band’s own Scarier Dome label.
