Divino Niño
Divino Niño
Divino Niño is a musical group formed in Chicago, Illinois in 2012. The band consists of Camilo Medina (vox/guitar/percussion), Javier Forero (vox/bass), and Guillermo Rodriguez(vox/guitars). They are known for their psychedelic sound, drum loops, harmonies, world percussion, and Latin American roots. Camilo and Javier met in Bogota, Colombia when they were very young, reunited in Miami, Florida in 2003, and have been playing music ever since. Before meeting Guillermo Rodriguez, Camilo and Javier were active members of the cult Misión Carismática Internacional, which has influenced their music in various ways. Guillermo does not formally own any of the equipment used on stage. The group is bonded together by their stature, naiveté and their unshakeable belief that a song should move your soul or your hips.
Surf Rock is Dead
Surf Rock is Dead
Originally hailing from Chicago and Melbourne, Australia, Kevin Pariso and Joel Witenberg--together Surf Rock is Dead--embody the beachiness of their namesake's genre through a new wave filter. Praised by Noisey and EARMILK, the duo's captivating live show is crashes over you in the best way possible.
Adiós Ghost
Adiós Ghost started in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn as the home recording project of Ben Sigerson. It expanded quickly in scope and direction with the addition of Simon Davenport, Jimmy Stull–friends from college in Madison, Wisconsin–and A. Loew, a friend from growing up in DC. Their early practices were held in cramped, by-the-hour rehearsal spaces in Midtown, followed by a brief stay in a dingy Clinton Hill garage, before settling in their current warehouse basement in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Taking their name from a line in a Big L song, Adiós Ghost has slowly and painstakingly woven their sound together out of equally unlikely elements, including psych, early house, indie folk and West African guitar music.

Adiós Ghost's debut EP was released in January 2013 on 12" vinyl and is available for streaming and download at www.adiosghost.com. The EP met with praise from a number of well-regarded music blogs, and was described as "wild and worldly", "full bodied, and impassioned" and "intensely colourful". Since the release, they've slowly built a following in and around Brooklyn. In September 2013, they released a new single, "Splitting Glass", and their next one, "Counting Paces", is coming out in Spring 2014.
